When needed the screen opens across the door opening sealing the doorframe. The door closes into a adjustable ball catch closure. The screen system consists of a 2" square tube which contains a fiberglass screen wrapped around a spring motored roller. The housing, handle, and tracks are all made of a high quality vinyl material for a long life without rust, wear or any of the other problems created by metal frames and handles. They come stock in white and may be painted to any color after using a vinyl primer. The possibilities are limitless for the use of our Retractable Screen Door System. When your door opens out, the screen system is mounted on the outside on the door fram. Sliding glass door screens are installed by mounting the screen housing at the center edge of the fixed glass door frame.
